2020 WHCA Scholarship Recipients

Given the abrupt end of classroom learning and the move to virtual graduation ceremonies and gatherings, etc., there never seemed like a good time to make this announcement.  However, as fall approaches and many of our young residents head off to college, the Worthington Hills Civic Association is pleased and honored to recognize the 2020 recipients of our annual scholarship program.  Since the earliest days of the Association, giving back to the community by recognizing and rewarding talented students with a scholarship has been important to our purpose.  Over the past several years, the program has grown to include more scholarships with larger scholarship amounts.  This year, the Association, through the support of our voluntary membership, was able to award a total of $7000 to four bright young, motivated students from our community.  This year’s recipients and a brief bio for each are included below.  While they likely have already moved off to their respective colleges and universities to start classes, if you do happen upon them, please offer your congratulations (socially distanced – of course).  And please continue to support the Worthington Hills Civic Association so that we can continue to make programs such as this possible.
