PreCycle Day Worthington Hills is a community-wide curbside, free exchange of re-usable items that is being organized by Girl Scouts in partnership with the Worthington Hills Civic Association. The Girl Scouts hope to find a solution to an unresolved issue in Worthington Hills that goes along with their focus on reducing, reusing, recycling and repurposing. The girls noticed that on trash day many of their neighbors were throwing away items that could possibly be of use to others such as furniture, sports equipment, toys, household items, etc.
PreCycle Day Worthington Hills will be held on Saturday, September 20th from 9am-5pm. Please join the Girl Scouts in helping to make the world a better place by taking any of your unwanted household items and placing them on the curb so that they can find a new home and a new life! After that, take a walk down the street and/or drive around the Hills to find the treasures that your neighbors are giving away.
